Hilltop Writers Workshops are informed by the Amherst Writers & Artists Method (www.amherstwriters.org) for facilitating emerging and established writers, as devised by author and teacher Pat Schneider and described in her book Writing Alone and With Others [Oxford University Press (2003)]. Hilltop Writers’ founder and facilitator Holly Lewis Maddux is an AWA Certified Affiliate.
